angel flight east pic 2WHAT: Nolan CEO Kevin Nolan met Ellen Williams, Executive Director of Angel Flight East through the Chestnut Hill Rotary Club, where Ellen serves as President. She asked Kevin if he would consider sprucing up the offices of Angel Flight East. Kevin agreed and before long, Nolan painters were repairing and painting throughout the non-profit’s headquarters. Nolan supplied paint and labor valued at $2,400.

WHO IT BENEFITS: Angel Flight East provides free air transportation to qualified patients and their families by arranging flights to distant medical facilities, delivering supplies to disaster areas, and reuniting families during desperate times. Angel Flight East’s volunteer pilots complete an average of 800 missions annually.

WHEN & WHERE: The work took place in May 2017 at Angel Flight East’s offices in Blue Bell, PA.

WHY: To Angel Flight East, healing means getting better…not getting there. Nolan’s donation of services helps them sustain their volunteer, public benefit program. Their mission aligns with the Nolan in the Neighborhood community
giving program.

Says Executive Director Ellen Williams: “I cannot adequately express what a joy it is to walk through the door and see our fresh bright space. The best part is seeing the expressions on the faces of our volunteers when they see the new and improved office for the first time.”
